In this episode, the crew build a new shuttle: the Delta Flyer.

Based on a design by Tom Paris with some Borg-inspired technological enhancements, the Delta Flyer is larger and more durable than other shuttles. Also, because Tom Paris is Tom Paris, one of its consoles features old-fashioned physical controls rather than touch panels.
