In this episode, Daniels shows up and sends Archer and T’Pol to early 21st century Earth, where some Xindi-Reptilians have somehow traveled to finish gathering human biodata and developing their bio-weapon.

It’s unclear why Daniels doesn’t take care of this himself, as this would seem to be his exact job as a temporal agent.

Regardless, Archer and T’Pol manage to stop the Xindi and bring their bodies, their equipment, and a sample of the virus they were creating back to the present.
